About Melanie
I completed my Postpartum Doula training through Birth Ways International in September 2015. After years of working in office settings, I was looking for something that was more aligned with my passions and values, and Postpartum Doula care seemed like the perfect fit! I love sharing knowledge (based on current research, as opposed to opinion), and helping families gain confidence in their own unique parenting style.
I have two young children of my own, and personal experience with cloth diapering, baby wearing, breastfeeding, and bed-sharing.
I am a member of Doulas of Regina and am continually growing my postpartum knowledge through community events, sharing circles, books, and online publications. I have recently completed a Holistic Sleep Coaching course and am excited to add more in-depth guidance on biological normal infant sleep into my support packages.
